Today, March 8 2016 on International Women’s Day, Chef Express is proud to be co-directed and managed by a woman.
In a male dominated industry, Director Sally Gleaves has shown that women can do it just as well.
With an eye for detail and a flair for interpersonal communication, Sally brings a unique set of skills to Chef Express.
“Chefs spend so much time away from their families, working nights and weekends”, Mrs Gleaves said.
“We spend a lot of time recognising the efforts of our team and showing our appreciation for their family”.
Chef Express employs both male and female chefs and is pleased to work with kitchens run by both male and female executive chefs.
When not working at Chef Express, Sally supports the Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce on the board of directors, volunteers at school and her local sporting club and raises her two girls.
“I want to show my girls they too can create amazing opportunities for themselves”.
Chef Express is proud to have a female director and support International Women’s Day.
