To make your cheese board look good try to get height and angles. Cut cheese at angles so you can stand them to get maximum height. You only need two or three different cheeses to make an appealing board. Add a little fruit for colour. Snip grapes in to little bunches of four or five grapes, so you don't get the mangy looking stem left on the platter. Quince paste is a nice addition to cut through sharp cheeses and enhance the creaminess of others. Above all don't over crowd the board. Go with the less is more approach.
